Eliot successfully carried out the operation of the first test flight with an unmanned aircraft, as part of the Advanced Air Mobility project, developed in collaboration with the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João, 4LifeLAB, and CEiiA.
This pioneering flight marks a significant step forward in the development of new air mobility solutions aimed at transforming emergency medical response and logistics. By combining engineering, innovation, and healthcare, the project seeks to create a faster, more efficient, and sustainable model for transporting critical medical supplies, such as medications, biological samples, blood components, and advanced life-support equipment.

As the operator of this first test flight, Eliot played a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the mission, demonstrating the potential of unmanned aerial systems to operate safely and effectively in a healthcare environment.
This milestone reinforces Eliot’s commitment to accelerating the integration of air mobility into the healthcare sector, exploring technologies that shorten distances, improve response times, and ultimately save lives.

The Advanced Air Mobility project also includes the development of the first hospital vertiport in Portugal, setting the foundation for a future where aerial logistics support medical networks and emergency systems with greater agility and reliability.
At Eliot, we believe that innovation has the power to connect technology and purpose — and this achievement is a clear example of how we are helping shape the future of smart, life-saving mobility.
