June 25, 2025

Eliot, a Portuguese startup developing air solutions for transporting critical cargo, has been awarded the Logistics Excellence Award – PEL Startup 2025, granted by APLOG – the Portuguese Logistics Association. This distinction recognizes the company’s innovative contribution to the sector, particularly in addressing logistical challenges in hard-to-reach areas and in emergency or conflict contexts.

The technology developed by Eliot, a spin-off from CEiiA, aims to carry out important missions for transporting critical goods to remote areas, where ground transportation alternatives are either limited or significantly slower.

According to the competition jury, which seeks to highlight emerging projects with a high degree of innovation and growth potential, the recognition is due to the added value Eliot is bringing to the logistics sector by developing solutions based on real market needs, with a clear focus on applicability and impact.

Inês Folhadela Furtado, CEO of Eliot, highlights the importance of seeing the startup’s work recognized, stating that "receiving this award is a confirmation that we are addressing real-world challenges. Innovation, when applied with purpose, has the power to transform not only industries but also social realities."

The award granted by APLOG reinforces Eliot’s position as one of the most promising startups in the Portuguese logistics ecosystem, combining technology with strategic vision.
